In Week 4 of our iPowered Girls virtual series, we focused on “Achieving Your Goals” with a special emphasis on building self-confidence. This session encouraged the girls to reflect on their personal aspirations while learning how to develop the mindset and tools they need to pursue them with boldness.
We explored the power of S.M.A.R.T. goals—helping the girls understand how to set goals that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Beyond just setting goals, the workshop emphasized the importance of believing in oneself, pushing past fear, and embracing mistakes as part of the growth journey.
The girls engaged in open discussion, shared their goals with one another, and were encouraged to take pride in each small step toward success. It was a powerful reminder that self-confidence is not something we’re born with; it’s something we build by showing up, speaking up, and staying consistent.
Week after week, these sessions became a safe space for learning, reflection, and sisterhood. The workshop was a key turning point in helping the girls own their voice and value.
